I know the man, if I had met with London, Hemingway, Melville, I would have gotten the same kind of feeling.
His writing is lively because the man is alive, weak, strong, weak and strong, that is a real man.
He has a real talent for words, for relationships with humans, because he has been experiencing the world...
And he still is broad open to the world, acute.
I advise you, to read from his life, whether it is in poems, from his novels or autobiographic works!
They are genuine, earnest and sincere, experiences, thoughts, doubts...
